Abstract Submission/Mandatory Manuscript Submission

Abstract Submission Policies

Submitting authors agreed at the time of online abstract submission that the material had not previously been submitted to The Laryngoscope or Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology. Submitting authors also agreed at the time of abstract submission that the material had not been submitted for publication, published or presented previously at another national or international meeting and was not under consideration for presentation at another national or international meeting. The penalty for simultaneous submission/publication is prohibition from presenting at a Triological or COSM meeting for a period of three years.

The Society retains the first right of refusal to publish any paper presented as a podium or poster presentation at a Triological Society Meeting. All abstracts accepted for oral and poster presentation are the property of the Society.

Mandatory Manuscript Submission to The Laryngoscope or Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology

Podium Presentations: It is required that all abstracts/papers accepted for oral presentation at a Triological Society Meeting be submitted for review to The Laryngoscope or to Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology by the deadline outlined below. AUTHORS WHO HAVE NOT SUBMITTED A MANUSCRIPT PRIOR TO PRESENTATION AT THE MEETING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MAKE A PODIUM PRESENTATION.

Poster Presentations: Manuscript submission for poster presentations is optional but encouraged; if you plan to submit a manuscript, you must submit it to The Laryngoscope or Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology prior to submission to any other journal. The Laryngoscope and Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology have the first right of refusal on all submissions.

The Laryngoscope instructions to authors and manuscript preparation can be found at The Laryngoscope ScholarOne™ Manuscript Central site here. Authors must use this web-based system for manuscript submission. For inquiries regarding manuscript submission, please email thelaryngoscope@gmail.com.
