ENTtoday Wins APEX Award

ENTtoday has won an APEX Award of Excellence for writing on the health and medical topic for its Medical Device Misuse vs. Off-label Practice, written by Jennifer Fink for the October 2023 issue.

The 36th Annual Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) awards program recognizes excellence in publishing by professional communicators. APEX Awards are based on graphic design, editorial content, and overall communication excellence. APEX Grand Awards honor outstanding works in 13 major categories and the APEX Awards of Excellence recognize exceptional entries in 100 subcategories.

There were more than 1,100 entries with 100 Grand Awards and 439 Awards of Excellence. ENTtoday was one of 19 magazines to receive the Award of Excellence in writing on the health and medical topic.

Andrew H. Murr, MD FACS appointed Executive Vice President-Elect

Following thoughtful and deliberative consideration, the Search Committee recommended, and the Executive Committee has approved, the selection of Andrew H. Murr, MD FACS as the Executive Vice President-Elect. Dr. Murr will transition from his current role as Treasurer into the role of EVP at the conclusion of COSM 2025 in New Orleans. The future of our Noble Society is indeed in good hands.
